Logistics Specialist Outbound page is loaded Logistics Specialist Outbound Apply locations Mozzate, Italy time type Full time posted on Posted 5 Days Ago job requisition id R0004548 Logistic Specialist Outbound Job Description The Logistics Specialist is responsible for the Outbound flow from the plant and will as well be acting as the back-up of other functions in the Logistics Department. The position works with the Warehouse team, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Planning and freight carriers.
The main objectives are to ensure safety, on-time customer deliveries, 0% customer logistics complaints and ongoing logistics cost reductions.
Description: Follow-up on customers orders, including orders for bulk materials, organize outbound transport for both Ascend grades produced in Mozzate and Fosses Create deliveries and shipments in SAP (SD module) Communicate with Customer Service on potential delays or stock availability issues Resolve quality block issues with the Quality team and the planner Communicate proactively to carriers and the warehouse team Ensure to manage urgent deliveries and follow-up till completion Approve invoices for outbound transport Provide relevant data and feedback for KPI analysis Implement specific improvement projects with the Regional Logistics and Procurement (tender) On-site training support as needed before and after the implementation of SAP Required Qualifications: Bachelor level of education in Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent IT skills: SAP, Outlook, Excel Must fluently speak and write in English. Other Skills: Passionate to deliver excellent results. Ability to work independently, whilst being a team player. Good communication skills on all fronts, as well as excellent interpersonal skills. Pro-actively highlight and address potential issues with key stakeholders.
