The engine of our success is the importance and value that we place on the talent and passion of our people leading to their own professional growth.JOB PURPOSEManaging the selection, negotiations, tender and contractual aspects connected with the suppliers of the Logistics Division, coordinating with the Purchasing Department Manager and the other functions of the Logistic Division.RESPONSIBILITIESCarry out continuous scouting of potential suppliers (freight forwarders and customs brokers) of logistic services;Manage periodic global tenders for the allocation of logistic services;Support the Purchasing Department Manager in the management of negotiations with suppliers;Take part in the management of the main sustainability project activities in the logistics area, coordinating with the Purchasing Department Manager and the Group Sustainability Director in order to identify strategies and solutions to minimize environmental impact and CO2 emissions;Review existing agreements and identify possible improvements in terms of quality of services, costs, security;Identify solutions to optimize costs and improve supplier service, interfacing with Retail and Industrial Logistics Managers;Monitor supplier performance, implementing systems to measure them and the KPIs defined during the tender process;Collect and monitor logistic service supply agreements in the other countries of the Group, interfacing with Regional Logistic Managers and ensuring uniformity with respect to the guidelines provided by the headquarters;Manage accounting aspects with suppliers, liaising with internal Controlling and Administration functions in order to optimize payment processes.
Contribute to the development and improvement of the current TMS (Transportation Management System) of the Logistics Division for supply cost controlling and sharing of pre-invoices with suppliers;Draft periodic reports on the main activities of the purchasing function, such as monitoring of costs, suppliers' turnover and KPIs achieved by the same.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLSDegree in Economics or Management Engineering;2-5 years of experience in logistics;Good knowledge of office, stealth, and SAP package;Proactivity, curiosity, and teamwork skills;Focused on details;Organizational and analytical skills, ability to summarize and to identify the correct priorities in his/her own field of responsibility/competence.
