Valentino SpA is looking for an Intern who will be included in the Logistics Innovation & Controlling Department, based in Milan.
The Logistics Innovation & Controlling Intern will be involved in workflows and procedures revision inside the Logistics department, with focus on process mapping and modelling. He/She will be involved in creating process maps and documentation to ensure that existing and new procedures are clearly defined and understood by all organization's department members. He/She will proactively identify and share inefficiencies and suggest changes to streamline processes in order to increase productivity on existing and new workflows and optimize costs. He/She will support the definition of specific costs KPIs and the generation of periodical Costs Reports to be shared within the Logistics Dpt and with the Top Management. He/She will be involved in the delivery of value-adding analysis and costs simulation models in order to support the WW Logistics Director in taking decisions for process and costs optimization.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Map supply chain macro-processes and procedures with an increasingly wider scope of analysis.Cooperate in ideating and implementing new processes to improve operations and optimize logistics processes.Produce project documentation, reports, and operational guidelines for the training of operational resources impacted by changes.Define and calculate KPIs to ensure project results are aligned with the expectations of Business Leaders and to monitor Logistics Department costs and KPIs.Support the implementation of the cost controlling process on the Company TMS for an automated check of freight forwarders' invoices.Proactively identify and recommend opportunities for cost optimization within the Logistics processes.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Management Engineering, Economics / Business or a related field.Advanced Excel / PowerPoint user.Fluent in Italian and English.Knowledge of Process Mapping and Functional Analysis techniques is a plus.Knowledge of BI tools (PowerBI, Qlik) and SAP is a plus.Previous experience in Logistics and Supply Chain environments is a plus.Analytical and well-organized.Proactive and adept problem solver.Digital and Agile approach.Ability to effectively collaborate with many individuals and teams.Good communication and presentation skills, able to effectively communicate to different stakeholders at different organizational levels.The Valentino ecosystem is home to a wide and extraordinary pool of talents, each colleague contributing with their unique attributes, nurturing a culture of inclusivity and equality.
