We offer a 6-month internship in our logistics department, where you can gain practical skills and a comprehensive understanding of logistics activities.
Tasks and responsibilities Plan and Schedule Shipments: Assist in planning and scheduling all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring alignment with company requirements Prepare Import Documentation: Help prepare timely import documentation, including customs authorization for air and sea shipments Warehouse and Transportation: Support the interaction between the warehouse and transportation teams Monitor Delivery Activities: Help monitor and coordinate daily inbound and outbound delivery activities Manage Goods Returns: Assist in handling goods returns, mistakes, and damages Communicate Across Departments: Support daily communication with relevant departments such as the warehouse, purchasing, and customer service.
Project Work: Contribute to the creation of a key performance indicator (KPI) dashboard using MS PowerBI.
What You'll Learn: Logistics Planning and Organization: Gain insights into the planning and organization of import and export activities Documentation and Compliance: Learn the intricacies of preparing import documentation and ensuring compliance with customs regulations Operational Coordination: Develop skills in coordinating logistics operations and managing interactions between different teams Problem-Solving: Enhance your ability to handle returns, mistakes, and damages efficiently Data Analysis: Get hands-on experience with data analysis and visualization tools like MS PowerBI Your Profile: Educational Background: High school or university degree in engineering or economics.
Language Skills: Fluent in Italian and English; German is a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel); knowledge of ERP/WMS/TMS systems is a plus.
