\n About the PositionAs a Logistics Coordinator at Zeeco Italy, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless execution of freight operations and compliance requirements. You will manage logistics processes, liaise with third-party providers, and support cross-departmental operations, ensuring our internal and external customers receive the highest levels of service. Key ResponsibilitiesFreight Solutions: Source cost-effective freight solutions to meet the daily operational requirements of all Zeeco departments.Data Management: Utilise reporting and booking tools to manage logistics data and support day-to-day operations.Third-Party Coordination: Liaise and negotiate with third-party logistics providers to secure competitive rates and service levels.Shipment Coordination: Oversee freight shipments from collection to delivery, ensuring they meet internal and external customer requirements.Documentation Compliance: Collaborate with internal departments to ensure shipping documentation is accurate and compliant with customs regulations.Certifications: Liaise with local Chambers of Commerce to apply for and secure necessary shipping certifications.Invoice Processing: Support freight pay processes by raising purchase orders using Sage software, ensuring invoices are processed in a timely manner.Issue Resolution: Communicate and resolve any shipping or transportation issues with relevant departments.Cost Reduction: Identify and support logistics cost-saving initiatives and cross-functional improvements.Reporting: Assist in preparing month-end reporting, including EU Intrastat submissions.Service Provider Reviews: Participate in meetings with freight and transportation service providers to review performance.Internal Collaboration: Work with Project Managers to understand logistics requirements and provide tailored solutions.Supplier Engagement: Communicate with suppliers to gather essential shipment-related information.
