THE ROLE
To support the lab's logistics operations and contribute to its mission of driving innovation in humanitarian preparedness and response and supply chain management. The position holder will report to the Head of the Innovation Lab.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (not all-inclusive, nor exhaustive):
Collaborate with design teams and key stakeholders to support the co-creation of solutions that address the evolving needs of humanitarian response. Assist in developing technical specifications for long-term agreements related to core activities and items. Assist in the identification, evaluation, and adoption of innovative technologies and practices. Coordinate requisitioning and ensure the timely delivery of commodities and supplies. Manage logistics vendors' contracting activities. Support gathering market intelligence and conducting vendor assessments. Prepare, monitor, and revise budgets for projects within the Innovation Lab. Perform research, collect data and conduct data analysis. Process any documentation related to the Innovation Lab activity. Support with communication activities to attract interest from private sector and partners. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Education: Completion of secondary School education. Additional degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Product Design, Project Management is desirable.
Experience: Minimum 6 years' professional experience in humanitarian sector, and/or development projects.
Language: Proficiency in Italian and in English (Level C) is required.

Desirable Knowledge of supply chain operations in emergency. Experience in developing technical specifications and managing logistics contracts.
