Logistics Assistant

Overview:
The Logistics Assistant supports the Logistic Specialist, Production and Material planner in supplying from the Cavriago (IT) plant to our customers.
It performs a number of tasks to ensure smooth delivery with accurate documentation, billing and customs formalities.
**Responsibilities**:
- Support in supply chain management:
- Execute daily shipments with coordination of warehouse personnel and assuring in time shipments with accurately prepared shipping documents
- Check for timely availability of products
- Transport arrangements and follow-up on the punctuality of collection and deliveries
- Coordination of the timely supply of export documentation through various sources (chamber of commerce, customs, transport suppliers,...)
- Assists the internal activities:
- Provide input for operations planning, forecasting and inventory management
- Manage toller (create MO, provide shipping documents, manage inventory at toller)
- Support production team, Production and material planner with putting the data into M3
Qualifications:
**MINIMUM EDUCATION (including licenses, certifications, designations, etc.
)**:
- High school diploma or equivalent
**ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERI**
**ENCES**:
- At least 1-2 years working in a warehouse or in logistics
- Accurate, well organized, good communicator on a shopfloor level
- Able to plan activities, to anticipate and to take initiatives
- Flexible in adjusting to organizational needs
- Team player
- Fluent in Italian
- Good PC skills:
- E-mail,
- MS Excel(pivot), MS Word
- ERP experience (SAP, Infor or others)
- Customer focused, communicative & assertive
English basic level is welcomed
