Logistics Area Manager

For a client company operating in the Beauty industry, in strong expansion in Italy, we select a Logistics Area Manager with a view to strengthening and implementing the function.
Logistics Area Manager (Ref.
53/24) The figure appointed, while waiting for organisational developments due to the growth phase in the market, will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for planning, managing and optimising the logics of incoming/outgoing goods supply; scheduling the incoming and outgoing products on the Retail and E-commerce fronts; ensuring the regularity, timing and quality necessary for the storage and delivery of goods; managing relations with suppliers, transporters and external entities; optimising the use of IT systems and the warehouse management system; ensuring the distribution of available space according to the arrival/departure of goods.
In the role, he/she will be responsible for the warehouse team (60 to 120 pp, depending on seasonality and work peaks) with its manager and the planning team with another manager.
The profile is completed by problem solving and leadership skills combined with a strong motivational drive for teamwork and the ability to take on new professional challenges.
An indefinite-term contract is offered, and a salary scale commensurate with experience and professional skills.
Place of work: Emilia Romagna with availability for short business trips.
