The role of a Logistics Specialist at Nestlé Italia – in San Sisto Plant (PG) – the European Hub of the Confectionery division, involves identifying and implementing improvements in logistic processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs for the team and the warehouse. The candidate will be part of a team that manages outbound operations and ensures the proper circulation of vehicles both in Italy and worldwide, in addition to controlling and supporting the peripheral warehouses of the San Sisto Distribution Center.
A day in the life of...
Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and warehouses to organize storage, transportation, and distribution of products; Monitor and control inventory to ensure availability of necessary products; Analyze sales data and demand forecasts to plan and optimize logistic activities; Identify and implement improvements in logistic processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs; Manage requests and complaints from customers and internal stakeholders in a timely and effective manner; Maintain and update documentation related to logistic operations; Monitor and ensure compliance with transportation regulations and product management procedures; Welcome and coordinate drivers arriving for the pickup of goods at the warehouse; Print and prepare transportation documents, such as delivery notes and invoices, in accordance with customer requirements and transportation regulations; Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure proper management of goods and efficient workflow. Undergraduates or Graduates in Business Administration, Economics or equivalent; Theoretical knowledge (university level) about Supply Chain processes, objectives and methodologies (short work experience in Supply Chain/Operations is a plus). Knowledge of Office 365 and Business Intelligence tools (PBI); Excellent organizational and planning skills; Strong problem-solving and data analysis abilities; Results-oriented and ability to work in a dynamic and high-pressure environment; Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and customers; Fluent knowledge of both written and spoken Italian and English. #J-18808-Ljbffr
