We are in the process of expanding our language coverage, and are looking for someone with a background in audiovisual translation in the English to Italian pair.
As a Localization Specialist you'll be an integral part of our creative team, driving the localization process of English videos into Italian.
Responsibilities
Optimizing translations and adapting for dubbing and localization from the English source video Selecting and refining voice casts to ensure they match the English source video Utilizing new technologies to assist in the creation of dubbed content Managing first-hand the production and quality control of dubbed content Preliminary post-editing of clips to improve synchronization and combining inputs (in collaboration with editing team) Requirements
1-3 years of experience in audio translation from English to Italian A scrappy self-starter with an owner-mindset and a keen interest in leveraging emerging technologies Organized and structured, but able to quickly adapt to changes in plans and priorities Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail An A+ Candidate
Experience working in either localization, production and/or post production Experience with video-editing and audio-editing tools, preferably in dubbing or voice-over production Location: Remote
Preferably you live in Italy or a country where a majority of people speak Italian.
