Who we are looking forAs part of a business expansion in Italy we are looking for a professional to join the Local Paying Agent team.
This team performs all activities related to the end to end process of orders related to foreign funds.
Our duties range from day to day operations to project activities.
The candidate will work closely with their managers as well as with colleagues from the global delivery department and other State Street offices.Why this role is important to usOur department plays an important role in State Street and is in charge of the end to end process for orders on foreign funds and the processing oversight of corporate actions; this provides the opportunity to consolidate a complete view of different orders and to build strong relationships with our counterparties, mainly Italian distributors and foreign Transfer Agents.What you will be responsible forAs part of the team you will:Perform and monitor day-to-day operations;Follow up with third parties, including TA, distributors, and fund managers;Assist distributors' requests on a daily basis;Perform oversight duties;Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal clients and colleagues;Keep up to date procedures and job aids;Take responsibility for personal development and training.What we valueThese skills will help you succeed in this role:Business competencies in the industry; direct experience in local paying agent is a plus;Ability to analyze a situation and obtain information to reach sound conclusions;Organizational skills, with attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines;Good communication skills;Service-oriented and results-focused;Ability to work autonomously;Good team player;English (fluent, spoken and in writing).Education Preferred QualificationsDegree in economy or finance is a plus;Minimum of 1 to 3 years professional experience in financial services.Additional requirementsHigh attention to details;Taking ownership and initiative;Ensuring accuracy and quality;Fostering collaboration and teamwork;Ability to perform effectively within strict client deadlines;Ability to learn quickly and work in a team environment.Are you the right candidate?
