Loan Specialist

Assist loan officers and other personnel to ensure proper related documentation is prepared and/or provided for consumer real estate loans.

Ensure all loan documents contain correct information.

Follow the process of the loan with regard to ordering and requesting documentation.
This may include credit bureau, appraisals, title policy, flood determination, homeowners' insurance, and loan documents.

Scan loan documentation into document imaging software.

Assist with preparation of loan files and documentation requests for internal and external audits/exams.

Ensure loan is properly funded, send copies for loan to be built into core system, complete file document checklist.

Answers the telephone; response to routine loan officer or customer inquiries related to account balances, loan balances, and payoff requests.

Manages the organization and oversight of Construction Draw Loan files.

Adhere to compliance standards, bank regulation and loan policies.

Position Requirements: Previous loan servicing experience preferred.
Strong computer, communication, and customer service skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Proven experience in a role that requires strong organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
The ability to achieve goals and deadlines.
