Linux Sysadmin

As a Linux Sysadmin, you will be responsible for the maintenance, monitoring, diagnostics, support for Linux components of the CCH Tagetik Cloud Service.
With basic experience in Linux systems, you will work on distributed systems diagnosing and resolving problems.
Eager to learn and to improve are required as well as attention to detail and a Documentation oriented approach.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
Support to install new/rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, services, storage, etc.
in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements
Support to set up and configuration of common infrastructure components
Work closely with service desk and other colleagues to resolve problems
Use Monitoring tools to get insights and proactively resolve problems before service disruption
Investigate and troubleshoot on system and software configuration and related performance issues
Job Qualifications
Familiarity with Linux systems (Ubuntu, SUSE are a plus).
Basic knowledge of Networking, Routers, Firewalls, VLANs
Troubleshooting and analytical skills
Problem-solving and goal-oriented approach.
Good communication and collaboration skills, work in a team.
Client management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment as a team player.
English & Italian fluent.
Well-developed interpersonal skills to create a positive interaction with people at all levels within and outside the organization.
Preferred skills:
Familiarity with one or more scripting languages (ideally Bash, Ruby, Python)
Knowledge of Databases administration will be a plus (ideally one of PostgreSQL, HANA, Microsoft SQL Server)
Azure, AWS experience are a plus.
