At our core, we are a family that is built upon a culture that empowers members and all stakeholders to help us make positive changes.The RoleThe candidate will report to the Global Head of Industrial Development, developing methodologies and tools to integrate sustainability policies in our daily business processes.
The role is crucial in supporting and guiding all Brands on their journey to meet the ambitious science-based-targets set out by our group.
Furthermore, the person shall support our Management in the successful transition towards sustainable business models that are creating shared value through projects in the ESG area.
The Corporate Social Responsibility Manager shall create a winning team and has currently one CSR Specialist reporting directly to him/her.The ActivitiesBenchmarking, gap analysis, proposal and definition of improvement plans, programmes, initiatives and any other activities aimed at guaranteeing the group's adherence to international CSR best practices.Implementing the sustainability reporting system and preparation of sustainability reports, for each individual Brand and for the Group.Supervising the participation in public tenders for subsidized finance instruments and/or subsidized programs such as Industry 4.0 and the Sustainable Growth Fund.Developing a model to measure and monitor our Scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emissions.Implement Circular Economy guidelines for new product development.Preparing de-carbonisation strategies to achieve net-zero in 2050.Supporting the definition of objectives in line with the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi).Identifying and quantifying the financial impact of the risks and opportunities associated with Climate Change.Manage (functionally) a team of CSR managers and coordinators across all Brands of our Group.Disseminating the culture of sustainability and raising awareness of the issue among the various company stakeholders.Education and experienceEconomics or Engineering university degree;At least 5 years of experience in a similar role either in a leading specialized consulting firm or in a high-end brand (design, fashion, etc.)
working on sustainability issues;Knowledge of primary ESG issues, the main guidelines for drafting sustainability reports, international principles and management models in the field of sustainability, and the definition of models for measuring economic, social and environmental impacts.Required skillsFluency in English;Excellent knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel);Interpersonal skills, excellent listening skills, excellent communication abilities;Problem-solving;Attention to detail;Proactive and goal oriented;Moral integrity and a good work ethic.Job location: Milan #J-18808-Ljbffr
