The purpose of L2 SOC Analyst is to provide security analyst expertise and contribute to the success of the VOIS Security Operations Center (SOC) with particular focus on the Italian market.
To understand the business requirement and work on the emerging cloud technologies to deliver smooth and seamless business operations.
To investigate and analyze the alerts triggering in the respective platform and triage them accurately.
To give ideas in order to fine-tune the rules and content ingesting in the platform.
With these activities you will have a great impact on our business: • Investigate, Analyze and triage the alerts;• Document event and case analysis and investigation results in incident management system and own it until case closure;• Use available CSOC tools for historical analysis purposes as necessary for detected events;• Provide support to on-call duties and incident managers;• Ability to maintain composure under pressure and work calmly during an emergency;• Proactively work on alert reduction by contributing to fine-tuning and effort reduction ideas.
With these skills you are a great candidate: • 5+ years relevant experience in Cyber Security, SOC , SIEM, Event /Alert Analysis, Security Incident investigation and management;• Must have an understanding about network and security concepts, SIEM technologies (ArcSight / Splunk / Elastic , ELK ,Sentinel, Google Chronicle etc.
);• Must have Industry recognized security certifications like CEH, CCNA Cyber Ops, Security +;• Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Engineering or similar;• Prior experience in Cyber Security SOC; Prior experience in event analysis and triage.
