Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Law from an Italian University. Experience in a law firm or in a media/technology company. Ability to communicate in English and Italian fluently to support client relationship management in this region. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in legal analysis and research. Experience building relationships and communicating with people at all levels. Experience in data protection, copyright, technology, or media law. Experience working on numerous projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of technology, IT-relevant legal problems, and recent developments. Available to start between February to March 2025 for a 12 months fixed-term contract. About the Job As a Legal Trainee, you will play a role in helping Google respond to the legal issues of the information age. You will get an insight into a variety of legal challenges at Google and YouTube, learning to expect the unexpected while promoting the development of internet law in an unconventional environment.

Responsibilities Respond to legal requests from users and third-parties in relation to Google services, and resolve internal escalations. Assist the Legal team in the preparation and the management of court actions and in the analysis of lawsuits. Provide support for the localization of products, marketing assessments, review, and drafting of agreements. Conduct research on a variety of legal topics (e.g., copyright, consumer regulations, media regulations, advertising, etc.).
