The Opportunity As a Legal trainee you will join the Italian Legal Department, within a team consisting of 4 lawyers, who work to support the global business lines operating in Italy, for a 6-month paid internship.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities You will support handling of claims (reclami), enforcement procedures and requests of information from authorities (indagini);You will provide support to the management of ordinary corporate governance of WL Group companies in Italy, with regards to Boards of Directors and Shareholders' Meetings, including preparation of notices of meetings, minutes and supporting documentation;Maintenance of corporate books, drafting and reviewing relevant corporate documentation;You will provide support with respect to extraordinary transactions (contributions of business units, company acquisitions, mergers, demergers);You will carry out legal research (doctrine and jurisprudence) to provide advice and drafting of opinions with respect to corporate law issues;Support to other internal functions with respect to corporate law issues;You will provide day-to-day assistance on legal matters;You will collaborate in reviewing/updating internal policies;You will conduct research on legislation and case law;You will support the legal team on simple legal documents.Who Are We Looking For We look for big thinkers.
