**POSITION**
We are looking for a talented Legal Specialist** **to support OPIS legal department within the Business and Development Unit.

The successful applicant will be fluent in English and have good communication and organizational skills as well as a scientific background
The legal specialist is responsible for ensuring the negotiation and revision of all types of agreements (including contracts with third parties) by collaborating with the Business Units involved.
Supports the Management by providing OPIS Group legal opinions or interpretative advice, offering solutions to problems in order to prevent or mitigate the risks concerning the structure and activities of the Group.
Provides legal assistance to all Company functions.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensuring the negotiation, coordination, and review of all kinds of agreements (including contracts with third parties) cooperating with the involved Business Units.
- Supporting the Firm's functions with legal opinions and interpretative advice.
- Offering solutions to problems to prevent or mitigate the risks concerning the structure and activities of the OPIS Group.
- Involving effectively all the internal Units to provide the required support in order to successfully manage major and critical legal issues.
- Maintaining relationships with legal external consultants and overseeing their work providing clear direction, guidance, and support.
- Ensuring legal consultancy about headquarters and subsidiaries issues.
- Monitoring the update of the specific legal regulation applicable to the Group Companies and supporting its implementation, promptly updating the Management.
- Guaranting trademark legal protection and legal advice on intellectual property.
- Managing the archiving of legal documentation.
- Monitoring the updating of the regulations applicable to OPIS Group and supporting their implementation, promptly updating the Top Management.
**Work & Education Minimum Requirement**
- Law Degree
- Fluent in English
- Previous experience in Life Sciences is a plus
- Solid knowledge of GDPR and national data protection laws
- Experience in data protection and legal compliance
- Planning and organizational skills
- Leadership and communication skills
- Result-oriented
- Team-working oriented
