Job PurposeWe are looking for an experienced attorney who wishes to join our Global Rare Diseases legal team.Your main responsibility is to provide legal advice and support to the orphan drugs business unit on a wide range of legal and contractual issues related to the global R&D and supply chain activities.You will be mainly drafting, assessing and negotiating a wide range of international contracts, collaborating in interdisciplinary teams with colleagues from various functions (including IP, Finance, Procurement, Operations, R&D, Regulatory, Compliance, Commercial) in different countries.Key ResponsibilitiesDrafting and negotiating a wide range of supply chain and R&D agreements, including agreements related to clinical trials (both studies sponsored by Recordati and ISS), manufacturing and supply agreements, service agreements, confidentiality agreementsCounselling on data protectionCollaboratively interacting with internal stakeholders and third party partners (including CROs and supply chain partners)Advising on regulations and laws impacting the Commercial, R&D and Operations teamsProactively identifying and addressing potential legal risksSupporting the design and implementation of clear processes to provide effective and efficient legal support, including template agreementsComing up with innovative and creative solutionsRequired EducationUniversity degree in LawAdmitted to the barRequired Skills and ExperienceRequired:Around 3 years PQE (Post Qualified Experience)Good knowledge of contract/business law and data protection lawAnalytical skills and verbal/written communication skillsAbility to provide clear and concise counsel to a variety of stakeholders on complex mattersIndependent thinking with ability to interact across functions and work collaborativelyAbility to work efficiently while managing demands from multiple stakeholdersCultural sensitivity and flexibility to work effectively across a multicultural environmentPreferred:Experience in legal related roles in life science/pharmaceutical industry (law firm attorney or in-house counsel), particularly advising on supply chain, procurement and clinical trial matters.Required LanguagesFluent in EnglishFluent in Italian is an advantage >
