**Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026** is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
**Position**:
Role Purpose
To support the Legal team in the following activities (non-exhaustive list):
- Monitor the progress of activities the Legal team carries out in support to the various functional areas of MICO 2026, monitor the progress of
activities contained in the MICO 2026 Games Master Schedule and other planning documents affecting the activities of the Legal team,
managing the monitoring tools identified by the IOC and MICO 2026 (Smartsheet)
- Prepare Dashboard and Reporting to highlight the state of progress and detect any delays in achieving the milestones and/or target deadlines
of the various projects
- Prepare high-quality slide decks and/or presentations or above in support of the Legal Department
- If necessary, provide support in developing ancillary documents and worksheets to ensure the timely achievement of the specific milestones
- Support in arranging meetings and send communications with the IOC/IPC and with other Legal team stakeholders (_e.g_., corporate bodies, CONI,
CIP, event delivery entities, etc.)
as well as to the other functional areas for coordination purposes
- Support in collecting and revising all the comments and drafts that are part of, and/or are propaedeutical to, the adoption of the policies,
protocols and procedures to be adopted and/or updated by MICO 2026 pursuant to the "231 Legislation" and in accordance with the best
practice in the field of the company procedures implementation
- Constantly liaise with the other PMO of the Project Coordination Area, in order to ensure an appropriate flow of information and to align all the
Functions involved in delivering a specific project/activity
**Requirements**:
Role competencies:
- Educated to degree level
- Fluent in English
- Legal/contractual skills
- Documentation and specifications skills: capability to create clear and concise documentation capturing the legal/contractual aspects of the
various projects/activities
- Analysis skills: able to use a proper tools and techniques to conduct analysis and deconstruct the problem or solutions (_i.e_., use cases, workflow
diagram, etc)
- Project management and coordination skills
Skills, abilities, personal style and behaviours
- Experience (professional seniority) of at least 5 years
- Good knowledge of the specific Olympic and Paralympic set of documents and funding agreements (Olympic Charter, Operational
requirements, Functional areas' Guides, etc.)
or strong learning attitude to quickly familiarise with them
- Ability to use own initiative and carry out activities with mínimal supervision from senior managers
or complex development projects
- Preferable experience in previous editions of the Olympic/Paralympic Games and/or other past major events
- Preferable previous experience in supporting legal departments or working within legal departments/law firms
- Preferable experience in consultant agency
- High quality project and resource management skills
- Ability to work in a sympathetic, collaborative and multidisciplinary working environment
- Good communication skills and ability to provide clear, succinct and well-argued presentations - formally and informally
- Ability to identify problems/issues, seek pertinent information, evaluate data and develop appropriate solutions quickly and thoroughly
- Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills to devise creative solutions to complex and sensitive issues whenever emergency strikes
- Capacity to ensure both an 'helicopter view' and attention to details.
