Offer Description Moving from the idea that legal regulations and policies must properly fit with specific environmental characteristics of the urban sprawl area considered, the research will demonstrate how specific climatic data, biodiversity characteristics of greenery, and features of existing cultural heritage must be considered in drafting legal solutions of integrated management to mitigate effects of climate change in urban sprawl areas.
The research collaborates with landscape and environmental sciences to gather and analyse climate, greenery, and cultural heritage data from various Mediterranean countries, with a specific focus on urban sprawl areas under different legal systems.
