The Legal Counsel - Solar (F/H) will support the development department and the Country Manager on the permitting process in full compliance with applicable laws.
The position is available as soon as possible.
MISSIONS Supporting Development PV projects on permitting process in full compliance with applicable laws to get the ready to build status according to planned timing.
This involves among others active participation in the project team's day-to-day activities, direct relationships with authorities, landowners, and stakeholders' management, and support to the Country Manager and development team in project steering; Maintaining up-to-date land contracts and documents according to internal policy; Reviewing, drafting, advising on land contracts and legal documents in general; Within the acquisition process: To execute (directly and/or by managing external consultants) the legal check on the permitting and real estate topics of the project under pre-screening or DD providing legally grounded opinions supporting business decisions; To support the transaction team according to inputs from the Country Manager and development team in drafting and/or reviewing transaction-related documents (such as LoIs, NBOs, Bos, SPAs, etc.)
ensuring good coordination between business needs and legal/risk management requirements.
Monitoring the relevant regulatory frame developments and timely reporting to the rest of the company about expected or forecast changes that can impact the business in terms of risks and opportunities.
Such activities will involve among others the participation on behalf of the company in regulatory-related working groups within sector organizations; Dealing with general day-to-day operational legal inquiries from the business units/departments.
PROFILE At least 3 years of experience working in a legal department in the renewable energy sector, preferably within the PV sector; Master's degree in public/administrative law; An adaptable mindset, good problem-solving ability, and the ability to build relationships due to ever-changing conditions and the need to communicate with a variety of stakeholders; Fluent in Italian and English; Good skills with the MS Office package in general; What we offer: Permanent contract; Salary package up to profile; 10 euros ticket restaurant each working day; Remote work: 2 days/week; Location: Milano Starting date: As soon as possible #J-18808-Ljbffr
