**Legal Counsel**
**Industrial Region EMEA**
As a Legal Counsel, will provide legal advice that helps the business area achieve its overall strategic goals. Responsibilities will include legal support on a wide range of matters, from day-to-day operational matters to more complex international business transactions. You will have a key role in developing strategic legal tools and frameworks and provide legal advice relating to the core activities of the business area.
**What you can expect in this role**:
- Provide legal advice and support on a variety of legal matters including commercial contracts, M&A, software licenses, commercial disputes, cross-border projects and compliance matters.
- Independently draft, review and negotiate agreements of global and strategic importance.
- Establishing and implementing legal standards in compliance areas including growing regulatory areas such as information security and ESG.
- Proactively and efficiently advice senior business stakeholders.
- Co-operate with other functions and to foresee and protect the company against legal and compliance risks.
**You will enjoy working here if you have**:
- More than 7 years working experience from a reputable law firm and/or as an in-house counsel in an international industrial company.
- Experience of commercial law, M&A, intellectual property law and/or anti-trust law.
- Ability to independently handle all kinds of legal matters international and/or complex nature.
- In-depth understanding and interest of business strategy and technical context.
- Willingness to take ownership, identify areas of improvement and drive change.
- Integrity and ability to advice senior management, and communicate effectively with a big variety of stakeholders.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Fluency in English.
