Descrizione aziendaFor our client, a multinational food company with a strong focus on innovation and an international marketing strategy, we are looking for a Legal Counsel.PosizioneProvide accurate legal advice and solutions under Italian law across various areas such as commercial, contract, company, labor, competition, IP, GDPR, and market practices law. Knowledge of food law is an advantage.Act as a key legal contact for different departments within the company, assisting with day-to-day legal needs.Support the integration of the recent acquisition into the company legal and tax structure.Draft, review, and analyze contracts for the Italian companies, including commercial contracts, confidentiality agreements, sales and purchase agreements, etc.Assist in corporate housekeeping, including drafting necessary documentation and managing the legal life of Italian entities, particularly during restructuring after integration.Advise on legal aspects of business projects, ensuring legal compliance while understanding business needs.Help implement new European and Italian laws within the company.Build a network of external legal advisors in Italy.Monitor changes in Italian law, transposing European legislation, and translate these for business application.Standardize legal documents and integrate them into IT systems for efficient legal management.Foster a legal mindset within the company through training, legal tools, and resources to enhance autonomy.Contribute to implementing group policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks.Handle and follow up on Italian litigations and court cases.Manage legal and regulatory compliance risks for the company.RequisitiQualified Italian lawyer with a Master's degree in Law, with strong expertise in commercial, contract, company, competition, ICT law, GDPR, and European law.Experience in drafting and negotiating agreements, gained either in-house within a multinational (preferably FMCG sector) or at an internationally-oriented law firm.Excellent contract drafting skills, with experience managing complex legal matters and multiple stakeholders being a plus.Fluency in Italian and English, with strong written, spoken, and drafting abilities in both languages.Ability to work autonomously, with a strategic mindset, and advise senior management on complex legal issues.Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, showing flexibility in a fast-paced environment.Proactive, dynamic, and solution-oriented, with a hands-on attitude.Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and attention to detail.Positive, stress-resistant, and willing to go the extra mile.Team player with strong communication skills, capable of cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration.High ethical standards and professional integrity.Willingness to travel occasionally within Italy and abroad.Altre informazioniLocation: Genoa/MilanL'annuncio è rivolto ad ambo i sessi (D.lgs n. 198/2006) e nel rispetto di quanto disposto dall'art. 10 del D.Lgs n. 276/2003.
