Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position
Milan Cortina 2026 is seeking a proactive and skilled Legal Commercial Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting a diverse range of legal-commercial matters, including sponsorships, licensing agreements, pre-contractual documentation, and commercial negotiations. This role requires close collaboration with various departments, bringing a legal perspective to support the negotiation and management of commercial relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Draft and coordinate pre-contractual documentation, including letters of intent, memorandums of understanding, and binding offers.
Lead and coordinate the negotiation process in both pre-contractual and contractual phases.
Draft legal opinions, memoranda, and negotiate commercial contracts, including partnership, sponsorship, licensing, and supply agreements.
Identify IP-related risks for Milan Cortina 2026 content and provide applicable contractual solutions.
Conduct legal research utilizing various legal databases.
Prepare tutorials, presentations, training materials, and FAQs for operational departments.
Develop legal strategies and manage contract lifecycles.
Apply Italian civil and commercial legal expertise to the unique context of the Games, ensuring compliance across multiple functional areas.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Law; qualification in Italian law is required.
Proven experience in commercial law, preferably within a complex, multi-functional organization.
Strong understanding of IP-related issues and solutions in commercial contracts.
Exceptional project management and analytical skills with the ability to work methodically and with high attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Italian and English; experience in bilingual negotiations is a strong asset.
Commercial acumen, responsiveness, and the ability to engage in triangular negotiations with multiple stakeholders.
