Lean Manufacturing Engineer Position Summary To coordinate, organize and supervise all production process methods and engineering activities that enable production and supply chain according to lean principles. This includes sustaining engineering, new product launch processes, and continuous improvement activities. The position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining production processes to drive quality and efficiency, and to develop the manufacturing plant to improve operational competitiveness.

Position Responsibilities Continuous improvement of manufacturing processes on standard products. Improve shop floor productivity and controllable spending reduction. Work with lean principles and foster a lean culture in the plant through a problem-solving approach. Identify and support the best layout for production processes. Lead manufacturing projects from the idea to execution and implementation, including training. Drive digitalization processes. Introduce the manufacturing of new products with new standard works and training for operators. Develop and implement recommendations for improving efficiency and profitability of the plant. Collaborate with organizations within the Ingersoll Rand facility to help organize and set manufacturing direction. Provide a long-term vision for process equipment. Support capital planning, request approvals, project timing, and implementation. Ensure all equipment meets safety regulations. Coordinate activities with subcontractors as needed. Guarantee the flow of production by optimizing material supply chain approaches. Skills Required Engineering background. Understanding of Lean Manufacturing approach. 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong leadership skills to drive engineering principles and processes. Very good knowledge of English and Italian languages. Extensive PC skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint. Requires cross-functional communication at different levels.
