PURPOSE AND SCOPE: The Lead Workday Configuration Analyst (module assigned based on experience/growth in the potential areas of HCM Core, Recruiting, Compensation, Absence, Benefits or Talent Performance) plays a key role in the organization by analyzing, designing, and applying solution approaches for Workday module specific requirements and changes, for production configuration changes in Implementation projects, Change Requests and for break/fixes in the support model going forward.
This individual is responsible for the correct configuration and maintenance, based on approved and aligned requirements, approaches and policies in collaboration with the Workday Configuration Lead.
This individual will deliver the maintenance, the optimization of the specific Workday module configurations based on the HR and business demand and initiative prioritization coordinated by the Configuration Lead.
This role follows global and local change guidelines, data privacy, and audit requirements of production changes.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide break/fix support and process services requests for the specific Workday module Keep up to date on Workday functionality and training Responds to escalated inquiries from Tier 2 Resolves escalated inquiries and incidents related to respective module Support Configuration Lead or other HR stakeholders Support to prepare change requests for review by the Configuration Lead Collaborate in design sessions and define configuration requirements Build and unit test prototypes, and facilitate prototype reviews Define test scenarios and resolve defects Define cutover activities to deploy new features into production Creates and maintains relevant job aids and training materials Identifies Workday process improvement opportunities Supports Tier 2 regression testing prior to biannual releases Supports the development of report requirements related to Workday module Supports the clarification of integration requirements and integration testing related to supported Workday module Ability to learn and support other Workday functional modules as needed PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

10% travel EDUCATION AND REQUIRED CREDENTIALS: Bachelor's Degree; Advanced Degree desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: 3+ years professional experience with Workday HCM implementation and/or maintenance with Focus on the Workday specific module, in a functional configuration/maintenance management responsible role Functional knowledge of Workday module Experience implementing or providing Workday Configuration support Workday trained on specified module Experience using Service Management technology Ability to work under deadlines, multi-task efficiently, and reprioritize tasks based on business needs Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information Strong desire to continue learning newly released Workday Functionality Analytical and conceptual skills and data/fact driven approach to problem solving Communication skills including the ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and dealing successfully with stakeholders on all levels Strong presentation skills Ability to work and deliver results globally across geographies and effectively engage different people and teams Excellent attention to detail Business English #J-18808-Ljbffr
