Partner with the best In this role, you will report to the OEM IIoT and Cyber Services CoE Senior Team Leader, leading IIoT connectivity solution engineering activities.
As a Lead Infrastructure Solution Architect, you will be responsible for digital offer engineering and implementation in compliance with Baker Hughes policies, assessing customer policies & requirements concerning on-premises data collection & transmission and storage on the cloud, commissioning of connectivity solutions, and delivery of cybersecurity services for iCenter connected customers and edge devices.
As a Lead Infrastructure Solution Architect, you will be responsible for:
Supporting/Leading discussions with iCenter customers during the OTR phases to match project goals.
Leading analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods.
Developing cross-technology solutions.
Working on cross-functional projects/teams to deliver technology solutions for the business and align project goals.
Driving implementation of iCenter IIoT solutions for data gathering and connectivity.
Executing on customer premises IIoT solution installation activities and site missions.
Fuel your passion To be successful in this role, you will:
Have a Bachelor's in engineering or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) with relevant professional experience.
Understand standard concepts of setting and driving OT architecture (control network).
Have knowledge of control system devices and their functionality, e.g., PLC, HMI, SCADA systems.
Be familiar with common communication protocols, both proprietary and open, e.g., PROFIBUS, PROFINET, MODBUS RTU/TCP, OPC DA/UA.
Have knowledge of MS Windows OS and common Linux distributions as well as Endpoint protection software, e.g., Symantec Endpoint Protection, Trellix/McAfee Enterprise.
Be knowledgeable about data historian software commonly used in OT infrastructures.
