Job Summary:
Grand Villa is seeking a Lead Housekeeper to join our team at our assisted living facility. The Lead Housekeeper will be responsible for ensuring that our facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have experience in housekeeping and be able to lead a team of housekeepers to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department
- Train and supervise housekeeping staff
- Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean, safe, and well-maintained
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures
- Order and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Respond to resident and staff requests in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
