Job Description Thermo Fisher Scientific, world leader in serving science, is seeking a Lead for the Visual Inspection department located at the Monza (MB) facility.
The resource will operate in a department where automatic, semi-automatic, and manual visual inspections of sterile drugs in vials (liquid and lyophilized form) or pre-filled syringes are performed.
The resource, reporting to the Visual Inspection Supervisor, will collaborate daily with quality and all other functions on site to achieve customer satisfaction and deliver the product to patients.
The lead will play a coordinating role for the activities assigned to him/her, ensuring the appropriate collaboration of the operators.
OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for achieving the quantity and quality objectives of the production activities of the VI DPS Department, through planning and controlling the department's production activities within daily and weekly timelines, in compliance with company procedures and quality standards, safety regulations, environmental impact guidelines, and supervisor instructions.
SPECIFIC TASKS/PRIMARY ACTIVITIES: Production planning Contributes to ensuring adequate production planning within the weekly and daily timeframe by assigning tasks to operators, in accordance with the Planning and Scheduler's instructions.
Ensures production meets the planned quantities, times, and quality through supervision of production activities, control of the Batch Record, and departmental documentation related to the tasks performed, in compliance with the master batch record regarding quantities, times, quality, GMP, procedures, and company quality standards.
Supports leadership in monitoring the application of SOPs, ensuring compliance with master batch record instructions, verifying process sampling, and ensuring that production data recorded complies with GMP and current procedures before submission to Quality Assurance, in accordance with company quality policies and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Degree in CTF, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Diploma with prior experience in the role Two years of experience in a pharmaceutical and/or food environment Fluency in Italian and English Ability to manage and coordinate resources and good leadership skills Availability to work shifts (both continuous and night shifts) Responsibility and flexibility #J-18808-Ljbffr
