Job Description Thermo Fisher Scientific, world leader in serving science, is looking for a Lead for the Visual Inspection department at the Monza (MB) facility. The candidate will operate in a department where automatic, semi-automatic, and manual visual inspection of sterile drugs in vials (liquid and lyophilized form) or pre-filled syringes is performed. Reporting to the Visual Inspection Supervisor, the Lead will collaborate daily with quality and all other functions of the site to achieve customer satisfaction and deliver products to patients. The Lead will coordinate assigned activities, ensuring appropriate collaboration among operators.
SCOPE OF THE POSITION/RESPONSIBILITIES: The Lead is responsible for achieving quantity and quality objectives of production activities in the VI DPS department through planning and controlling production activities on a daily and weekly basis, in compliance with company quality procedures and standards, safety regulations, environmental impact regulations, and superior's directives.
SPECIFIC TASKS/PRIMARY ACTIVITIES: Production planningContributes to ensuring adequate production planning on a weekly and daily basis by assigning tasks to operators, in accordance with the directives of the Planning and Scheduler of the department.Ensures production meets the planned quantities, times, and quality by supervising production activities, controlling the Batch Record and departmental documentation related to performed tasks, in compliance with the master batch record regarding quantity, times, quality, GMP, procedures, and company quality standards.Supports leadership in overseeing the application of SOPs by adhering to the master batch record directives, verifying process sampling, and ensuring that recorded production data comply with GMP and current procedures before submission to Quality Assurance, in accordance with company quality policies and procedures.
