Job Description Thermo Fisher Scientific, world leader in serving Science, is looking for a Lead for the Visual Inspection department at the Monza (MB) facility. The resource will operate in a department where automatic, semi-automatic, and manual visual inspection of sterile drugs in vials (liquid and lyophilized forms) or pre-filled syringes is performed. The resource, reporting to the Visual Inspection Supervisor, will collaborate daily with quality and all other functions on site to achieve customer satisfaction and deliver the product to patients. The lead will play a coordinating role in the activities assigned to them, ensuring appropriate collaboration from operators.
SCOPE OF THE POSITION/RESPONSIBILITIES: The Lead is responsible for achieving quantity and quality objectives for production activities in the VI DPS department through planning and controlling production activities within daily and weekly timeframes, in compliance with company quality procedures and standards, safety regulations, environmental impact guidelines, and directives from superiors.
SPECIFIC TASKS/PRIMARY ACTIVITIES: Production planningContributes to ensuring adequate production planning within the weekly and daily timeframe by assigning tasks to operators, following the guidance of the Planning and Scheduler of the department.Ensures production meets quantity, timing, and quality standards by supervising production activities, controlling the Batch Record, and departmental documentation related to performed tasks, in accordance with the master batch record regarding quantity, timing, quality, GMPs, and company quality procedures and standards.Supports leadership in monitoring the application of SOPs by adhering to the master batch record, verifying process sampling, and ensuring recorded production data complies with GMPs and current procedures before sending to Quality Assurance, in accordance with company quality policies and procedures.
