Lead Formulation Technician

Thermo Fisher Scientific, a world leader in serving science, is seeking a Lead for the Visual Inspection department located in the Monza (MB) plant. The resource will work in a department where automatic, semi-automatic, and manual Visual Inspection of sterile drugs in vials (liquid and lyophilized form) or pre-filled syringes is carried out. Reporting to the Visual Inspection Supervisor, the resource will collaborate daily with quality and all other site functions to achieve customer satisfaction and deliver the product to patients. The Lead will coordinate the activities assigned to ensure proper collaboration of operators.
The Lead is responsible for achieving the quantity and quality objectives of the production activities of the VI DPS Department, through planning and controlling the production activities of the department on a daily and weekly basis, in compliance with company quality procedures and standards, safety regulations, environmental impact, and superiors' instructions.
Production planning
Contributes to ensuring adequate production planning on a weekly and daily basis by assigning tasks to operators, following the Planning and Department Scheduler's instructions.
Ensure production in accordance with the planned quantities, times, and quality of production, through supervising production activities, checking Batch Records and department documentation related to the tasks performed, in compliance with the master batch record in terms of quantity, times, quality, GMP, company quality procedures, and standards.
Supports leadership in monitoring SOP application by complying with the master batch record instructions, verifying process sampling, ensuring that production-related recorded data conforms to GMP and current procedures before submission to Quality Assurance, following company quality policies and procedures.
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or relevant field, or Diploma with previous experience in the role
Two years of experience in a pharmaceutical and/or food environment
Proficiency in Italian and English
Ability to manage and coordinate resources with good leadership skills
Availability to work shifts (both continuous and night shifts)
