Role Summary/Purpose: The Application Engineer leads projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact for BH Turbomachinery Solutions at the COE & regional level. In this role, you will be responsible for major and complex assignments with long-term business implications, manage complex issues within the area of application engineering, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
In the role, you will lead the following activities:
Providing technical expertise to Sales and Commercial Operations in selecting, implementing, and developing solutions for major BH customers. Supporting leaders in delivering revenue commitments. Developing budget & firm offers for New Unit business, focusing on steam turbines & expanders for Oil & Gas, Industrial, and new Energy transition markets. Aligning sub vendors proposals including Surface condenser, Electric Generator, etc. according to customer's Requisition and relevant applicable technical specs guaranteeing quality completeness and time responsiveness. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will:
Have a degree from an accredited university or college (or high school diploma / GED with some experience in Engineering/Technology). Have good experience in Engineering or Sales Support. Have the ability to identify any specific project criticality, to set the right strategy and direction. Have prior experience with customer specifications review, proposal development, and contract development and negotiations is preferred. Have knowledge of the application and requisition process.
