Make a difference in our business Our team is responsible for the Electric Motors and Generators integration, scouting innovative technologies and originating opportunities to expand our portfolio, managing programs for technology development, electric machines selection, and integration with other components, testing and installation support for our customers.
In a dynamic and fast-growing environment, you will be responsible for conducting autonomously the execution of electrical engineering projects for complex power generation and moto-compression trains, acting as the electrical unique entry point.
As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Designing and developing activities for new product introduction, executing the program according to plans. Performing technical selection of electrical items (e.g., Electrical MV generators, Electrical MV motor, MV Variable Speed Drive Systems). Formulating functional purchase specifications/data sheets and ensuring close technical alignment of supplier technical proposals. Managing technical documentation during the engineering development phase, following up with suppliers and customers up to finalization. Carrying out engineering design reviews with suppliers and customers to ensure compliance with customer contractual specifications and project applicable international rules. Participating in FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) for main/critical items and supporting the manufacturing team for internal testing. Providing engineering site support during plant commissioning and start-up. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will:
Have proven engineering experience within an engineering environment. Have a Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar with proven expertise in Electrical disciplines. Have substantial technical knowledge of electrical item design and selection, e.g., rotating machines, MV/LV panels, variable speed drive systems. Demonstrate experience of working with cross-functional teams within a global-matrix environment. Be an experienced problem solver, with an analytical approach to identifying root causes and implementing solutions. Be fluent in both English and Italian (oral and written) and hold an EU passport or work permit.
