We are looking for a Sustainability LCA Analyst (Embodied Carbon & Circular Economy) to join our Sustainable Development Team within Arup Milan Office. You will be responsible for: Life Cycle Assessments: embodied carbon calculation of the carbon footprint by means of specific calculation software (knowledge of OneClick LCA required), with particular focus on embodied carbon and circular economy at different scales (interior and fit out, buildings, infrastructures) and for the main building components (structures, façades, plants, architectural packages, interior/exterior finishes, furniture) and infrastructures. Collection and processing of data in order to quantify the carbon footprint of building technologies and materials. Supporting the project leader in the analysis of results and identification of recommendations and actions for improvement, research for low impact, recyclable/reusable and recycled content materials. Essential Skills and Knowledge Master's degree in building engineering, architecture or other relevant fields of study. 2-3 years of experience in the field. OneClick LCA for embodied carbon calculation. Knowledge of construction technologies, materials and building elements. Analytical skills and great familiarity with spreadsheets for data analysis. Understanding of main aspects of low carbon strategies and circular economy. Proficient level of English & Italian (at least B2). Able to work in multidisciplinary teams & systems thinking analytical capabilities. O365 package and database management. CAD packages and similar. Desirable skills and knowledge Graphics programmes such as InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop that will be used for report layout and preparation of diagrams and presentations (optional). Digital skills including data extraction and interoperability between LCA softwares and data processing softwares. Why Arup?
