Job Post: Layout & Piping Stress Analysis & Support EngineerMISSIONThe Layout & Piping Stress Analysis & Support Engineer executes the assigned activities following the instructions given by the Layout & Piping Stress Analysis & Support Group Leader and in accordance with the Engineering Practices and Quality Standards in force within the team, job requirements, time schedule, and cost requirements.Key Activities and ResponsibilitiesKeep the Layout & Piping Stress Analysis & Support Group Leader fully informed on the status of activities;Ensure adequate flow of information within the job team;Prepare, under supervision and following instructions, stress calculation, supports design, material requisitions, and technical evaluation of bids;Check the pipe supports marked up on piping construction drawings of non-critical lines by the Design & Drafting Group;File drawings and documents according to the instructions of the Layout & Piping Stress Analysis & Support Group Leader.This position can be filled by a Senior Engineer having a higher independence in performing the job.Skills/Qualifications:5 years of experience;Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred;Proficiency in stress calculation software (Caesar II) and AutoCAD.
