Job Post: Layout & Piping Stress Analysis & Support Engineer MISSION
The Layout & Piping Stress Analysis & Support Engineer executes the assigned activities following the instructions given by the Layout & Piping Stress Analysis & Support Group Leader and in accordance with the Engineering Practices and Quality Standards in force within the team, job requirements, time schedule, and cost requirements.
Key Activities and Responsibilities
Keep the Layout & Piping Stress Analysis & Support Group Leader fully informed on the status of activities; Ensure adequate flow of information within the job team; Prepare, under supervision and following instructions, stress calculation, supports design, material requisitions, and technical evaluation of bids; Check the pipe supports marked up on piping construction drawings of non-critical lines by the Design & Drafting Group; File drawings and documents according to the instructions of the Layout & Piping Stress Analysis & Support Group Leader. This position can be filled by a Senior Engineer having a higher independence in performing the job.
Skills/Qualifications:
5 years of experience; Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred; Proficiency in stress calculation software (Caesar II) and AutoCAD. #J-18808-Ljbffr
