Aim of the PositionThe Layout and Piping Design Coordinator will be involved in activities relevant to Engineering, collaborating with the Project Management Department and the Procurement and Supply Management Department. He/She will also participate in technical meetings at clients' sites or supplier locations and may be involved in supervision activities during the erection, commissioning, and start-up phases.
This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership, coordination, relationship skills, and a deep understanding of engineering principles.
Main ResponsibilitiesEnsuring efficient communication and collaboration with the Project Management department;Planning all related engineering activities and reporting to the project and engineering manager on the status of engineering tasks for each project;Executing required engineering meetings, reporting, and milestones in a timely manner;Supervising and approving project documentation (Plant layout and piping);Ensuring that quotation requests to vendors and external engineering resources comply with internal rules;Supporting the Sales and Service Department for materials cost estimation and consultancy on specific mechanical issues;Cooperating with internal technical departments: Engineering Management, Process, Instrumentation, Electrical;Being available for business travel worldwide to participate in technical meetings with clients, site activities, and plant surveys.Skills, Qualifications, and AbilitiesThe ideal candidate satisfies the following requirements:
