AIRC FUNDED FELLOW POSITION for a Translational Research Program Title of the project: "Developing new antibody-drug conjugates (ADC)s for neuroblastoma and glioblastoma"

Our group operates in a multidisciplinary context and is linked to national and international collaborations, both at the academic level and in connection with pharmaceutical companies.
We are looking for talented postgraduate students driven by a strong passion for research and team players. Background knowledge in molecular and cellular biology is required, as well as documented experience in cellular and molecular biology and biochemistry.
Project information Our research aims to validate at the preclinical level the therapeutic efficacy of a non-internalizing ADC developed in our lab. The ADC is designed to bind the vesicular LGALS3BP protein which is a potential therapeutic target and disease biomarker in several cancers. In particular, candidates will be asked to develop the following research tasks:
Assessment of the role of LGALS3BP in the regulation of tumor microenvironment (TME) including its relation with the immune system;Investigation of immune-mediated mechanisms of action of anti-LGALS3BP ADC;Evaluation of anti-LGALS3BP ADC therapeutic activity in preclinical models of neuroblastoma and glioblastoma.Job (mandatory) requirements/Preferential titles Degree in biological sciences and related fields.
Previous experience in the cancer research field is considered a plus.
