MissioneLand Controller will be able to manage and oversee all signed contracts, ensure compliance with payment obligations, track contract deadlines, and handle renegotiations as needed. The role also requires expertise in easements and expropriations, ensuring the smooth progression of project-related land agreements. While the role primarily focuses on contract management, it will also involve supporting origination activities.
Key Responsibilities: Contract Management and Compliance:Oversee and maintain a database of all signed land contracts, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with terms.Monitor and control all payment obligations related to land agreements, ensuring timely execution.Track and proactively manage contract deadlines, renewal dates, and other obligations, providing advance notifications to relevant stakeholders.Analyze existing contracts and lead renegotiation processes to optimize terms and conditions.Expertise in Easements and Expropriations:Manage easement agreements, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and project requirements.Support legal and technical teams in handling expropriation procedures, when required.Liaise with landowners, local authorities, and other stakeholders to resolve disputes or negotiations related to land rights.Origination Support:Contribute to the identification of new land opportunities for utility-scale solar projects, supporting the origination team when needed.Conduct preliminary assessments of land viability, including zoning and environmental constraints.Reporting and Coordination:Prepare detailed reports on contract status, payment schedules, and compliance risks.Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, finance, and project development, to ensure seamless land management processes.Act as the point of contact for land-related queries and issues.ProfiloRequired Qualifications: Education: Degree in Law, Land Management, Real Estate, or a related field.Experience:2-5 years of experience in land management, contract administration, or a similar role in the renewable energy, infrastructure, or real estate sectors.Proven expertise in easements, expropriations, and land contract negotiations.Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of Italian property laws and regulations, especially regarding servitudes and expropriations.Familiarity with contract management tools and databases.Basic understanding of GIS tools for land assessment is a plus.Soft Skills:Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines proactively.Languages: Fluent in Italian; professional proficiency in English is preferred; Spanish is a plus.Other: Valid driving license (Category B) and willingness to travel occasionally within Italy.
