Voltalia is growing and we are looking to reinforce the Prospection activities in the North of Italy and Sardinia.
The Land Acquisition Manager will join the Development team, participating in the development of renewable energies projects aimed within the scope of our mission: improve global environment fostering local development.
The Land Acquisition Manager will be responsible for several activities relating to the identification and securing of new projects:
- Identify and qualify potential land parcels in cooperation with the development team;
- Build a pipeline of qualified land parcels directly with land owners or through agents;
- Oversee land valuation studies of qualified parcels;
- Negotiate the options to secure rights and exclusivity over land parcels for specific periods;
- Negotiate purchase or rental terms for selected land parcels;
- Manage the relationship with land owners and agents;
- Represent the company in front of public, local and private actors, and implement appropriate information and communication procedures
- Participation in the launch of the procedures for making the town planning document compatible
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum 5 years' experience ideally in a similar function
- Degree in Economics and business or Engineering
- Experience in greenfield project development.
- Experience in creating a new business.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory framework around land use;
- Strong network of contacts amongst land owners and agents, local authorities and regulators
- Knowledge of land/real estate markets, and practices
- Fluent Italian and English.
- Computer proficiency.
