Job Description
PSI **Laboratory Specialists** provide professional input to global clinical studies, liaising with project teams and business partners, and ensuring that central/regional laboratories services are in line with PSI standard operating procedures and industry good practices.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Communication with central/regional laboratories, clients, project teams and investigators
- Preparation of laboratory-related clinical study documentation
- Conduct of initiation, routine and closeout monitoring visits of central and local laboratories
- Assistance with development and implementation of relevant quality control tools
- Training of relevant stakeholders in project-specific laboratory procedures
- Assistance with import/export submission documentation, and organizing laboratory samples transportation
- May participate in client presentations and review of laboratory reports and clinical protocols
Qualifications
- College/University degree in Life Sciences
- Prior experience in clinical laboratories or biochemistry/microbiology/cellular biology or medicine companies
- Biomedical PhD, prior industry experience or publications in international scientific journals are a plus
- Full working proficiency in English
- Ability to plan and work in a dynamic team environment
- Communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
