Company DescriptionWe are the company that cares – for our staff, for our clients, for our partners and for the quality of the work we do.A dynamic, global company founded in 1995, we bring together more than 2,800 driven, dedicated and passionate individuals.We work on the frontline of medical science, changing lives, and bringing new medicines to those who need them.Job DescriptionPSI Laboratory Specialists provide professional managerial input to global clinical studies ensuring that the central, regional, and local laboratories involved in the study comply with industry good practices, PSI's Standard Operating procedures and all relevant regulations.Responsibilities include:Supporting the selection of central and regional laboratories for clinical studiesProviding support / consultancy on lab-related issues of clinical studiesParticipating in technical assessment of laboratoriesCoordinating the contracting of clinical laboratoriesPerforming study-specific remote set up of clinical laboratoriesPreparing laboratory-related clinical study documentationCoordinating the transfer of samples between laboratoriesParticipating in routine calls with contracted labsConducting initiation and monitoring visits to laboratoriesDelivering training in laboratory related proceduresInvestigating and resolving issues with laboratories, couriers and clinical study sitesQualificationsCollege/University degree in Life SciencesPrior experience in clinical laboratories or biochemistry/microbiology/cellular biology or medicine companiesBiomedical PhD, prior industry experience or publications in international scientific journals are a plusFull working proficiency in English Proficiency in MS Office applicationsAbility to plan and work in a dynamic team environmentCommunication, collaboration, and problem-solving skillsAdditional InformationJoin our highly dedicated team of clinical research professionals to make a tangible difference within a professional and energetic organization founded by scientists.You will receive continuous support from your global peers and join a fast-paced, innovative, and results-oriented working environment with lean communication lines.We pride ourselves on being approachable, receptive to new ideas, and open to feedback.NB: Please submit your CVs in English.
