Profile:
Destructive and Non-Destructive Testing Laboratory Director on Construction Materials
Highly qualified and motivated professional for the position of Construction Materials Testing Laboratory Director.
The ideal candidate must have in-depth expertise in testing in accordance with the provisions of Law 1086/71 and Circular 633-STC of 2019, and subsequent in-depth circulars.
He/she must also possess the following qualifications:
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Building/Architecture single-cycle and Architecture
- Registration with the professional order for at least 10 years
- Experimenter technician for tests ex 1086/71
- Certification, issued by an accredited Certification Body in accordance with UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17024:2012, Level 3 ex UNI/Pd R56:2019 and RG01PRS_PND CIV, for technical personnel involved in non-destructive testing (NDE) in the field of civil engineering
- Nullaosta of the STC of C.S: LL.PP. to the role of Director or Deputy Director of Laboratory ex Art.59 DPR 380/2001 - Circular n.7617/10
Main responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all the daily of the testing laboratory, as defined by current regulations.
- Plan and coordinate testing , ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements and regulations.
- Train and develop laboratory staff to ensure appropriate technical skills.
- Collaborate with the business development function to identify new business opportunities, draft tender documentation for both tenders and direct negotiations, manage historical customers and oversee price lists to keep them up to date
- Collaborate with other business functions to ensure effective communication and efficient workflow
- Implement and manage quality control systems to ensure high standards.
Requirements:
Postgraduate experience in the specific field of building materials and building materials testing and inspection on existing structures and constructions for at least ten years.
The Director must have specific experience and expertise in the following areas
- physical-mechanical characteristics of building materials
- experimental procedures;
- national and international reference standards;
- operation of machinery and equipment.
The Director's curriculum vitae, qualification and professional experience must be documented, as required by the regulations in force to allow the Laboratory to be qualified, with reference to studies and falling within the specific field of tests and inspections on building materials on existing structures and constructions, for which authorisation is requested.
Place of work: Perugia
Availability for travel and on-site about 20% of the time.
