Job Description: Labor Relations Supervisor Your Contract This is a permanent, full-time position within the UPS Healthcare Italy division, based at Pozzuolo Martesana (MI) Office. We are offering a competitive salary and benefits for a capable and proficient Labor Relations Supervisor operating in the pharmaceutical logistics and distribution market.
Your Purpose Providing direct support to UPS Healthcare Management, you will work closely with our HR Business Partner and HR Operations Team as the main contact for internal and external social partners. Personable, communicative and decisive, you will use your problem-solving abilities to maintain constructive social dialogue with employees and stakeholders.
What you'll do: Report directly to the UPS Healthcare Italy Managing Director and Labor ManagerOperate under European compliance guidelines, work with HR to ensure local labor complianceBe the primary contact for union members and internal and external stakeholdersLiaise with management to organize union meetings, and participate in theseManage collective labor disputes and conflictsTrain and provide advice to internal stakeholdersKeep track of relevant legal and collective labor topics, and ensure that HR and our legal departments are kept abreast of any developments that could influence the organizationWhat does it take to keep one of the world's biggest and best shipping and logistics companies running smoothly, and how can you help ensure our employees are well looked after? Previous experience as a Labor Specialist or Manager in a complex organization, preferably in the logistics, pharma or retail sectorA degree, preferably in labor law or economics with a labor-focusPrior knowledge of Italian Trade CBA (CCNL Commercio, Logistica Trasporto Merci e Spedizione e Terziario)Solid experience in negotiating with unions, employees and employer stakeholdersExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAn ability to identify problems and the autonomy to prioritize important tasksSkill, passion, and restlessness to improveBusiness proficiency in EnglishA willingness to travel, as you may be required to make frequent business trips throughout Italy, mainly to the branches of Peschiera Borromeo (MI) and Spino D'Adda (MI)Your Benefits What's in it for you?
