WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE - Previous management experience from high volume retail or multi-unit food service industry - Previous experience in leading a group - Ambassador and a good example of good IKEA leadership and IKEA values - Analytical and numerical skills - Preferable experience in working with food safety management and documentation - Ability to handle multiple topics and changing priorities/deadlines - Ability to deliver strong business results through people - Ability to handle multiple topics and changing priorities/deadlines - Experience in a customer facing and retail environment and strong passion for food.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY - Contributes to the implement the global and national compliance standards to secure a safe environment for customers and co-workers - Effectively use the appropriate processes and procedures to secure quality ingredients and food safety, introduce vitality and reduce waste - Secure the customer experience and exceeding expectations of food availability, quality and presentation at point of service - Secure high quality standards and excellence in operations of customer experience inthe customer and co-worker restaurant - Secure that the retail foundation are in place to optimise quality perception in customer and co-worker restaurant - Secures that the kitchen equipment is maintained and in full working order - Contributes to the unit business plan and the IKEA Retail Food business plan and other action plans - Identify, introduce and develop the many talents in the department building competence in the kitchen team - Contributes in the implementation of the global and national people and sustainability strategies TOGETHER AS A TEAM The main responsibilities are:
attracting visitors to the stores, encouraging IKEA store visitors to stay longer and enjoy more, making it fun for everyone, offering great food with quality at the lowest prices, giving visitors a tasty reason to return again and again, and providing co-workers with a chance to rest and re-charge.
I work together with my colleagues in the store management team.
