Currently we are looking for candidates for the following position: Key Account Manager Refining Petrochemical Location: North-west, Italy Solenis has an opportunity for an experienced, motivated, and professional Key Account Manager to join our dynamic team in Italy.
The focus of this role is to identify and maximise our business development and sales opportunities as well as maintaining and developing existing customer accounts.
Responsibilities: Drive and grow sales and services in North-west Italy and giving support for the heavy industries European market.
Share Solenis product and market knowledge, ensuring superior value delivery to the customer.
Collaborate locally and with the broader business to develop sustainable networks.
Report on prospecting activities, sales opportunities, and competitor activity.
Contribute to the overall performance of the region and broader business goals.
Analyse decision-making process within key customer organization and initiate contact at various levels within customer organization (customer relationship management).
Build strong contacts at senior management levels of key accounts.
Lead and partner with customers for business strategies implementation and plan execution, conducting regular business reviews.
Conduct high level negotiations in order to secure new and repeat business.
Build long term internal and external customer relationships.
Collaborate with local partners, expand commercial pipeline especially but not limited to Refinery Petrochemical.
Act as an advocate for all aspects of safe practice, ensuring safety of self and others through rigorous use of safe practices and procedures.
Be the face of the company and responsible for all sales, account correspondence, contracts, orders received, new business implementation, troubleshooting and follow-ups.
Facilitate meetings with customers on a regular basis to discuss service, plans, and proposals.
Travel more than 50% of working time.
What You'll Bring: Master's degree in chemical engineering or similar, or equivalent industry experience, primarily from Chemistry and/or environment industry.
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the chemical treatment industry is required.
Extensive knowledge with chemical treatments in Refinery Petrochemical.
Excellent verbal and written skills in Italian and English.
Self-motivated and strong drive for results.
This is a field-based role.
The successful candidate must have a valid driving license.
