A European manufacturing business requires an experienced Key Account Manager to manage major accounts throughout Europe within the food & beverage manufacturing, logistics, retail, health and hygiene and / or packaging sectors.

This is a critical Key Account Manager role within the business - supplying technical safety solutions to targeted accounts within the food & beverage, logistics, retail, packaging retail sectors and establishing ourselves as the go-to partner for safety in the workplace and impact protection.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**: Key Account Manager - Europe, Global Account Manager, National Account Manager, Major Account Manager - safety products
A more detailed brief will be made available to those who are shortlisted but in brief, as part of the Key Account team, as Key Account Manager, you will:
- Understand the design and specification process within the selected key accounts
- Propose solutions to problems and create standard specifications across all new-build formats and existing sites
- Lead all commercial negotiations within the accounts
- Develop strong relationships with all key stakeholders relevant to the deliverables.
- Work closely with Country sales teams to ensure best practice is followed, information is shared and specifications enforced at clients sites.
**PERSON SPECIFICATION**: Key Account Manager - Europe, Global Account Manager, National Account Manager, Major Account Manager - safety products
- Have a proven track record of success of growing sales via product specifications with Blue-Chip companies in the food & beverage manufacturing, logistics, retail, health & hygiene or packaging sectors.
Experience within the materials handling or associated industries, would be of particular interest, but not essential.
- Have proven experience of growing sales with capital equipment / solution selling.
- Possess excellent key account management skills and experience.
- Have a track record of generating additional sales through problem identification and solving.
- Are able of development of multi-level customer relationships with Blue-Chip companies across Europe.
- Products wise, have sold technical products, specialised components or sub-systems; we are open in terms of product experience as long as your c current sell is specification based and project led.
- Have good influencing skills and experience of working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Possess a real 'can-do' attitude.
- Are self-motivated, ambitious, entrepreneurial and have excellent team player skills.
