Our client is a global biotech company based in the United States that focuses on developing RNA interference (RNAi) therapies to treat genetic, rare, and chronic diseases.
Your new role In order to expand our Italian workforce, we are looking for a Key Account Manager for Puglia and Abruzzo.
The KAM is primarily accountable for developing and implementing key account plans in their designated territory to optimize patient care.
The Key Account Manager, reporting to the Area Sales Manager, is expected to develop plans in close alignment and collaboration with functions of Medical Affairs, Patient Advocacy, and Disease Area Specialists, while ensuring full compliance with all relevant company, industry, legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
Main Responsibilities: Presents a positive image of the company and promotes awareness of the RNAi platform to relevant customer groups.Co-leads and coaches the Disease Awareness Specialist (DAS) of the assigned area.Develops and leads regional/hospital market access.Develops, owns, and drives territory and account plans, including customer targeting, in line with country strategy in partnership with the Commercial and Medical Affairs team.Achieves pre-launch and post-launch KPIs.Performs detailed analysis of the assigned territory to identify, assess, and support the development of relevant centers for diagnosis and treatment.Increases patient identification, diagnosis, and referral rates by executing a territory strategy and account-specific plans.Develops trusted relationships with a portfolio of customers to ensure a competitive advantage by thoroughly understanding key customer needs and requirements.Ensures timely delivery of correct products and services to customers by collaborating with internal stakeholders (commercial, supply chain, and compliance) and external centers.Establishes and maintains contact with key customers and provides commercial and scientific services to ensure access at the site of care and that logistics are in place to administer the product.What do you need to be successful University degree in a business-related field such as health or business management or comparable educational background.5+ years of Sales and Key Account Management experience in bio/pharmaceutical sales.Ability to gain consistent access and develop strong & professional relationships for product promotion with healthcare providers in reference centers and the community.Effective communication and influencing skills to engage with professionals at all organizational levels.Fluent in Italian and English, both written and verbal preferred.Ability to travel within a territory on a regular basis (80% of the time).Office: Full remote
